Learn how to set up and use the FLIP FLEXY Lotion Bundle for the first time. Step-by-step guidance, common mistakes to avoid, and practical tips for a smooth experience.
Quick answer
To set up the FLIP FLEXY Lotion Bundle, unpack the device and lotion, apply a small amount of TENGA Lotion Regular to the interior and yourself, then adjust the suction and pressure to your comfort. Clean thoroughly after each use and store dry.
Why the bundle simplifies your first session
The FLIP FLEXY Lotion Bundle pairs the reusable FLIP FLEXY device with TENGA Lotion Regular, so you have a compatible lubricant ready from the start. Using the included lotion avoids guesswork about which lubricant works best with the device's internal texture.
Because the FLIP FLEXY is reusable, proper cleaning and drying between uses is essential. The bundle format also makes it easy to keep lotion on hand for future sessions.
When to skip the bundle and buy separately
If you already own a favorite lubricant or prefer a different formula, buying the FLIP FLEXY alone may be more economical. The bundle is best for first-time users who want a complete, ready-to-use set without researching lubricant compatibility.
Step-by-step first-use guide
- Unpack and inspect: Remove the FLIP FLEXY and lotion from the packaging. Check that the device is intact and the lotion seal is unbroken. Common mistake: assuming the device is pre-lubricated—it is not, so you must apply lotion before use.
- Apply lotion: Apply a small amount of TENGA Lotion Regular to the interior of the FLIP FLEXY and to yourself. Start with less; you can always add more. Common mistake: using too much lotion, which can reduce friction and sensation.
- Adjust suction and pressure: The FLIP FLEXY features adjustable suction and pressure. Experiment by twisting the top and bottom sections to find your preferred tightness. Common mistake: setting maximum suction immediately—start gentle and increase gradually. Checkpoint: if you feel discomfort, reduce suction or add a little more lotion.
- Use and enjoy: Use at your own pace. The FLIP FLEXY is designed for solo use. Common mistake: rushing—take time to explore the adjustable features for a better experience.
- Clean thoroughly: After use, disassemble the FLIP FLEXY according to the instructions, rinse with warm water, and use a mild toy cleaner if desired. Avoid harsh soaps. Common mistake: skipping cleaning—residue can harbor bacteria and degrade the material. Checkpoint: ensure all lotion residue is removed before drying.
- Dry and store: Allow all parts to air-dry completely before reassembling. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Common mistake: storing while damp, which can lead to mold or odor. Checkpoint: parts should be fully dry before storage.
